Effició, Inc. is seeking an Owner in Practice to join our Education Team as an independent contractor. This unique role is designed to bring real-world business ownership expertise into Effició’s educational programs, enhancing the learning experience by providing practical insights, mentoring, and actionable guidance to program participants.
As part of the Education Team, the Owner in Practice will collaborate with facilitators, strategists, and other team members to deliver a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and real-world application. By sharing personal experiences, practical tips, and entrepreneurial stories, this role ensures that Effició’s students gain a comprehensive and grounded understanding of advanced business practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with facilitators and strategists to deliver CORE24 curriculum, with a focus on practical implementation and real-world scenarios.
- Act as a mentor to participants, guiding challenges specific to business ownership and leadership.
- Lead roundtable discussions and workshops to illustrate key concepts with practical, actionable examples.
- Share entrepreneurial insights and stories to validate and expand upon theoretical frameworks taught in the program.
- Contribute to program development by offering feedback on curriculum updates and identifying opportunities for integrating real-world business challenges.
- Participate in alumni and community outreach initiatives as needed, providing mentorship and support to graduates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a business owner, CEO, or entrepreneur, with a deep understanding of small firm operations and leadership.
- Strong communication and mentorship skills, with the ability to connect and inspire participants.
- Practical expertise in one or more areas of business (e.g., strategy, operations, marketing, finance, technology).
- Ability to integrate personal experience with Effició’s frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience in facilitating workshops or leading discussions is a plus but not required.
